Amy F. Leveen
Amy F. Leveen began consulting in 1993 and has extensive experience building annual fund programs, including donor acquisition, donor development, membership renewal, telemarketing, and the use of social media to enhance all fundraising outreach and communications.
She has worked with esteemed organizations including the ACLU, Amnesty International, American Indian College Fund, City Harvest, Museum at Eldridge Street, Physicians for Human Rights, and Planned Parenthood of NYC, among others. Most recently, she has worked with Habitat for Humanity New York City and is volunteering as a member of the NYC League of Women Voters fundraising team.
From 2012 to 2019 Amy served as the Director of the Annual Fund at Barnard College, where she was responsible for the development and implementation of a program that included direct mail, telemarketing, digital marketing, and social media. She is a past president of the Direct Mail Fundraisers Association (DMFA); has served as a member of the Sharing the Annual Fund Fundamentals Steering Committee; and on the Board of the Greater New York Chapter AFP, where she was Co-Vice Chair for Program for Fundraising Day in New York. She is a current member of Women in Development.
Amy graduated from SUNY Binghamton with a B.A. in Theater History. For seven years prior to entering the fundraising profession, she worked as a theater stage manager.
